Job Purpose:
FEXCO Merchant Services currently has a requirement for a Discovery Manager within its Professional Services team. The Professional Services (PS) function enables FMS to define and deliver multiple complex projects through a well-defined process of quality controlled stages to demanding time schedule. The Discovery Manager is responsible for managing a team of Business Analysts (BA) and Discovery Analysts (DA) and providing senior business consultancy to support new business opportunities globally.

This is a hands-on role in a growth area, leading and directing a team to deliver consultancy and analysis in conjunction with the global business development team, external Clients and Partners and internal stakeholders such as IT, Finance, Operations and Senior Management.

The successful candidate will be expected to lead the Discovery team in the process of validating and shaping solutions and deals prior to project initiation and to manage the handover to the Project Management team, leading to a more predicable delivery of pipeline and budgeted revenue. In parallel, s/he will be expected to manage the Business Analysis team in the delivery of technical and financial analysis for new business opportunities or customer initiatives ensuring that business and system requirements are aligned. The Discovery Manager will also be required to manage and mentor remote individuals and teams to ensure that all Discovery Analysis is carried out to the required standard and procedures.

This demanding role requires a candidate with strong leadership ability, industry experience, focus and a solid client facing, commercially-oriented ethos with an emphasis on consultancy and innovation.

Main Responsibilities:
The key responsibilities of the successful candidate include:

  • Managing and mentoring a multi-disciplined team of analysts in an environment that allows them to deliver to the maximum of their abilities
  • Capacity and Performance Management and development of the team
  • Senior business consultancy for key deals with a strong emphasis on the suitability of the solution, effort required and customer commitment
  • Lead the presentation of solutions, proposals and workshops to international acquirers, merchants and technology providers
  • Manage the interface between the Business Development/Channel Sales team and the Projects team
  • Management of the pipeline of opportunity hand over to the Projects team
  • Management of Change Request (CR) initiation to meet new business requirements
  • Co-ordination with internal teams as inputs to the BA/DA process
  • Third-party relationship management
  • Delivery of timely and accurate reporting on activities within the BA/DA function as Senior Management directs
  • Providing relevant input to contracts and reviewing contract detail
  • Preparation of Request for Proposal (RFP) documents
  • Continuous process / product improvement within the business unit
  • Conduct induction training for new FMS users to explain the BA/DA function
  • Promote the PS function by clearly articulating the depth and breadth of our pre-Sales Support, Business Analysis and Project Delivery capabilities at every opportunity

Qualifications / Experience Required

  • 4+ years in a similar role
  • A primary degree in IT, Business or a related discipline is required.
  • A post graduate qualification in Project Management (or equivalent) is an advantage.
  • Proven track record of success as a consultant / analyst at a senior level coupled with strong
    relationship building skills, including written, face-to-face and remote interaction.
  • Prior experience of managing teams
  • Experience of working with CRM systems such as Oracle CRM an advantage
  • Excellent knowledge of MS-Office Professional suite of products, including PowerPoint and Visio. Knowledge of MS-Project would be an advantage
  • Knowledge of the FEXCO Merchant Services’ products and the Credit Card payments / Financial Services industries is desirable

Office Assistant (Part Time)

DETAILS OF THE ROLE

Job Title: Office Assistant (Part Time)

Reporting to: Credit Union Support Centre Manager

Contract: Permanent Part Time (3 days per week)

 Job Purpose

FEXCO Foreign Exchange Services are seeking an Office Administration to provide support and assistance to the Bureau team.

Main Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Monthly  check details of payment of commissions to all 243 agents and upload the file on IBB
  • Daily notification to agents of  unpaid cheques  and weekly settlements with Finance
  • Daily notification to agents of unpaid direct debits and follow through to settlement.
  • Assist daily put through EMTS files on IBB for debit / credit sweep
  • Conduct daily check of all foreign currency orders, rounding up and put to cash depot in a timely manner.
  • Liaise with  FEXCO Depot and submit orders for foreign exchange  from relevant Financial institutions on a daily basis
  • Obtain foreign exchange rates from suppliers and submit payments to suppliers for foreign exchange on a daily basis.
  • Carry out daily update on FXMS ( FEXCO management  system) of remit and transfer rates
  • Process entire agent network stationary requests 10 – 15 requests per day
  • Assist daily monitoring cash ceilings
  • Handle a share of incoming phone queries through Bureau Ireland customer support line.
  • Handle FX POS password / lockout requests
  • Distribute daily rates – in the event of system failure
  • Printout and file daily rates of exchange-regulatory requirement
  • Deal professionally and knowledgably with all customer complaints/queries
  • Adhere to all company policies, security, procedures and Anti Money Laundering Regulation

Qualifications / Experience required

  • Previous experience in a busy office administration role required
  • Previous experience in a similar role advantageous
  • Strong working knowledge of MS Office suite
