Financial technology company Fexco will attend the International Air Transport Association (IATA) World Passenger Symposium for the airline industry in Dubai from October 18 to 20. The 2016 conference themed ‘Innovating better together’ represents the sixth edition of this annual event.
The World Passenger Symposium brings together representatives from the global travel industry to share insights, discuss industry challenges and best practices within the space. Attendees at the conference will discuss key transformational initiatives including; distribution and customer experience as well as on the ground and in the air and technological advancements.
Fexco will have the opportunity to showcase its world class Multi-Currency Pricing (MCP) and Dynamic Currency Conversion (DCC) solutions to the delegates. The solutions offered by Fexco can be particularly beneficial to the airline industry which prices its fares and ancillary services in multiple currencies. The traveller can select the currency in which to browse the website and ultimately make payment in. The solution also allows airlines to generate new and leverage existing revenue streams when the margin, normally applied by the travellers own bank and card scheme, is replaced by a guaranteed commission share fully managed by Fexco Treasury.
Again with Fexco, the airline can provide the traveller with a more tailored payment experience. Through card recognition software, international cardholders are offered the choice to pay for flights and ancillary services in their home currency instead of the airline’s default currency while the airline benefits from a risk free solution.
