Fexco has been recognised as the Employer of choice at the European Women Payments Network (EWPN) annual awards and conference in Amsterdam last night.
The event, which took place alongside Money 20/20, brings together finance sector professionals from all over Europe and seeks to highlight the importance of diversity and inclusion in the workplace, celebrating those individuals and organisations that champion the values of the EWPN.
Companies shortlisted in the Employer Category were selected based on positive workplace policies and the environment of the organisation meeting criteria including; flexibility at work, especially for working mothers, promoting diversity, inclusion and gender parity on opportunity and reward, and demonstrating support for females through leadership and/or mentoring opportunities and programmes.
Fexco beat off stiff competition from fellow nominees Mastercard, Valitor and Credorax to claim the Employer Award.
Speaking at the awards – Denis Cleary, CEO of Fexco’s Payments & FX Division said:

The European Women Payments Network or EWPN is a not-for-profit Pan-European community that strives to create more opportunities for women and minorities, as well as being a champion for a more diverse and inclusive payments industry for all.
The network facilitates co-learning, knowledge sharing, mentoring and networking between members, both corporate and individual, with the overarching objective of highlighting the importance and value of a diverse workforce to companies operating in the payments space.
