Our leadership team

Neil was appointed CEO of Fexco Group in January 2022 having previously served in the roles of Managing Director and Chief Operating Officer (COO). Neil had previously held the role of CEO of Metamo DAC, a first of its kind 50:50 joint venture company between Fexco and Irish credit unions. Neil has over 20 years’ experience in the financial services sector and has held various senior executive positions in the Irish and US banking sectors including Consumer Banking, Business Banking, Wealth Management and Business Transformation.

Anna has been the Group CFO of Fexco since October 2021. Anna has 20 years’ experience in Banking and Finance, prior to Fexco she was the CFO for AIB Group (UK) plc. She also held senior positions in AIB as Head of Finance for AIB Retail Banking Ireland and Head of Group Management Reporting. Throughout her career Anna held key roles in strategic and financial planning, mergers and acquisitions and the AIB IPO process. Anna is a member of the Chartered Institute of Management Accounts (CGMA) and the Irish Tax Institute (CTA).

Paula joined Fexco in March 2004 and was appointed Head of Group Human Resources in 2009. Prior to joining Fexco Paula previously worked in Human Resource Management for Dunnes Stores in the UK and Ireland. She has a Bachelor of Business Studies, a Masters in Work and Organisational Behaviour (UL, 2012) and is qualified in Occupational Testing with the British Psychological Society (BPS). Paula is also a Chartered Member of the Institute of Personnel and Development.

Paula was appointed to the Fexco Executive Management Committee in 2015.

Bertie joined as Chief Strategy Officer of Fexco Group in late 2021. His career prior to Fexco spans 15 years having held executive roles in both professional services and industry working across the technology and financial services sectors primarily. Bertie has a BSc in Business Information Systems from University College Cork; he is a Chartered Accountant having trained with KPMG in Dublin and he completed the Executive Programme at the Stanford Graduate School of Business in 2015.

Sean Crowe joined the Fexco Group Executive in July 2022, with responsibilities including leadership of the Financial Services Division. Prior to Fexco, Sean served as Group Treasurer for Bank of Ireland and CEO for the Group’s Market and Treasury Division. He was a member of the Executive Committee steering the Bank of Ireland Group from 2014 to 2020 and a member of the Board for New Ireland Assurance. His previous career was spent in leadership positions in the financial markets, investment management and insurance industries.

Denis joined Fexco in 1990 and has been a pivotal figure in the development of the Dynamic Currency Conversion (DCC) concept. He has been crucial to the success of Fexco’s DCC initiative and the expansion of the company’s card payment solutions. Denis played a key role in taking the DCC business global, establishing a presence in 29 countries across five continents.

Throughout his tenure at Fexco, Denis has held numerous senior IT and commercial positions including CEO of Fexco’s Payments & FX Business Division, he has driven the growth of the company’s payment products and solutions for over 25 years. In 2022, Denis was appointed Group Director of Corporate Governance. He holds a degree in Computing and Mathematics from University College Cork and a Higher Diploma in International Selling from DIT.

In September 2026, Martin was appointed Managing Director of Fexco Ireland. This new role reflects the continued growth of Fexco’s business portfolio in Ireland, including its recent investment in KSNPM. In this capacity, Martin holds a functional leadership role across Fexco’s Irish businesses, helping to strengthen collaboration, identify new opportunities, and ensure customers and partners benefit from the full breadth of Fexco’s capabilities.

Martin joined Fexco as Managing Director of our Managed & Advisory Services business in 2021. He has spent most of his career working in Consultancy, Service Management, Service Delivery and Commercial Management roles across the Financial Services, Energy, Utilities, Sustainability, Retail, Travel, Aviation and Public Sectors.

As a member of the Fexco Group Executive, Martin also oversees Fexco’s Corporate Social Responsibility endeavours.

Eoin was appointed as Head of the Group Holdings Division in October 2023. Eoin also holds the role of Group Secretary and is a board member of a number of Group companies.  Eoin joined Fexco in 2017 and previously held the role of Group General Counsel.

Eoin is a qualified solicitor and has over 15 years’ experience advising multinationals and SMEs in multiple sectors including Financial Services, Software and ICT. Eoin also has extensive experience in the areas of Mergers & Acquisitions, Joint Ventures and Strategic Investments.  Eoin has a BCL from University College Cork, a Master of Laws from University of Warwick and is a member of the Law Society of Ireland.

Brendan joined Fexco as Group CIO in 2024. As a senior IT leader, he brings over 30 years of experience driving digital transformation and operational excellence across banking and technology industries. He has held leadership roles at prominent companies such as ING Group and Bank (where he served as Global CIO Wholesale Banking, Global Head of IT Infrastructure & Engineering and CIO for Group Services), Hewlett Packard (EMEA Business Development Executive – Managed Services –FSI), Rivada Networks (Chief Operating Officer and Member of the Board), and started his career in IT within AIB Group.

Throughout his career, Brendan has consistently demonstrated a strong ability to build and lead high-performing global teams, deliver complex IT programs, and achieve significant revenue and cost efficiency improvements. His expertise spans infrastructure management, application development, agile methodologies, cloud adoption, and cybersecurity. Brendan is passionate about leveraging technology to solve business challenges and create strategic advantage.
