Celebrating Dedication: Fexco Employee Recognition Awards 2025

On 15th October, Fexco proudly celebrated its people at the 2025 Employee Service Recognition Awards, honouring over 70 employees for their incredible service and commitment.

The event, which was held in the RDI Hub in Kerry, was a heartfelt occasion filled with laughter, stories, and moments of reflection.

Recognising Milestones

Awards were presented across categories for 20, 25, 30, and 35+ years of service, with special recognition for Jenny Pigott, marking an extraordinary 40 years with Fexco. These milestones reflect the loyalty and dedication that have shaped Fexco’s success over the decades.

An Evening of Stories and Celebration

Hosted by Barry O’Sullivan (GM Commercial, PACE), the evening was more than an awards ceremony, it was a celebration of people. Colleagues shared stories that brought smiles and laughter, reminding us of the friendships and experiences that make Fexco unique. We also took a moment to remember those who contributed to Fexco’s journey and are no longer with us.

Words of Gratitude

The event featured speeches from Fexco CEO Neil Hosty and Denis McCarthy, Chairman, Fexco Group. Denis shared a poignant message that his father, founder Brian McCarthy used to say:

“It was the people of Fexco who built Fexco… the people in this room in particular, the people who have been here a long time, are the people who helped build and grow this company…”.

This sentiment echoed throughout the evening, reinforcing that our greatest strength lies in our people.

With 36 years at Fexco, Geraldine now leads the team supporting the Gas Networks Ireland contract — a career shaped by long-term partnership, leadership and trust.
