Environmental solutions with lasting impact
Headquartered in the Reeks District in southwest Ireland, a region with areas of special environmental protection, Fexco has long been conscious of its environmental responsibilities. As a diversified global organisation, with businesses and employees across six of the seven continents, we recognise the impacts of climate change and biodiversity loss across the communities in which we operate.
Environmental Stewardship at Fexco is guided through group‑wide governance and delivered through a combination of consistent oversight and locally led action. This approach reflects the diversity of our global footprint while supporting meaningful, practical environmental progress across our operations.

Environmental Stewardship in practice
Across our global operations, Environmental Stewardship is delivered through a combination of targeted investment, practical site‑level action, and ongoing employee engagement.
Carbon emissions and energy: In Ireland, Fexco has invested in on‑site renewable generation at owned locations, including photovoltaic installations at our Killarney Road and Iveragh Road campuses, which are now delivering operational benefits. Further renewable capacity is planned as part of our longer‑term transition. Across the UK, we continue to prioritise certified renewable electricity where feasible.
Resource stewardship: Waste and water: Building on site‑level audits, improved segregation practices, and employee engagement, we continue to strengthen how waste and water are managed across key locations. This work recognises regional differences in infrastructure while supporting improved monitoring, data quality, and more consistent practices over time.
Biodiversity: In Kerry, our approach to biodiversity is guided by ecological assessment and a multi‑year Biodiversity Action Plan. Initial actions have focused on establishing the conditions for long‑term habitat enhancement across our sites, recognising that meaningful biodiversity outcomes require a sustained, evidence‑based approach.
These actions reflect a practical, locally informed approach to Environmental Stewardship that balances consistency at Group level with meaningful action on the ground. Further detail on progress, metrics, and outcomes is set out in our Transformation in Action 2025 report.
Local action, global impact
Fexco Global Green Week
Fexco Global Green Week brings colleagues across our global businesses together each year to support environmental awareness, learning, and locally led action. Coordinated through the Environmental Sustainability Working Group, the programme provides a shared moment for engagement while allowing teams to focus on practical initiatives shaped by local context.
Green Week 2025 again reflects the role our people play in delivering Environmental Stewardship at Fexco, supporting understanding, ownership, and collaboration across regions while reinforcing the link between everyday actions and long‑term environmental priorities.
